Dr. Avery D. Alexander

Medical Director

Board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Alexander is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery. A graduate of the University of Virginia, he received his medical degree at Stanford University Medical School, and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the noted Kellogg Eye Institute. Like many of his patients, Dr. Alexander stays very active. He is trained in the martial arts and enjoys the active lifestyle of the Fox Valley. He is an avid tennis player, as well as an accomplished pianist.


Kim Goddard

RN, COT/ROUB, Ophthalmic Technician

I have been working at Alexander Eye Institute for 3 years; in addition I have 10 years of Ophthalmology experience. I assist Dr. Alexander in surgery as well as doing testing prior to the patient’s surgery and post-operative exams. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Administrator

I have been a part of the Alexander Eye Institute team for 8 years and it is a totally rewarding position. No two days are ever the same as I am constantly meeting new patients who become part of our (AEI) family, and I can honestly say “Our patients are the greatest”. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family, especially my four precious granddaughters.

COA, Ophthalmic Assistant

I have been a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant for 8 years. I enjoy educating patients and helping them through their entire surgical experience. Outside of work, family, friends, outdoor activities, and dancing are my hobbies.

Refractive Counselor

I am a Refractive Counselor at Alexander Eye Institute. I love working with patients and counseling them about refractive surgery. In my free time I enjoy acting, singing, dancing, playing my violin and spending time with my family and friends.

Kimberlee Ebben


Refractive Counselor

I have been a Refractive Counselor for Dr. Alexander for the past 3 years. I enjoy meeting and educating a variety of patients daily on refractive surgery and enjoy continuing my education in the ophthalmology field. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and watching all genres of movies.

Lori Miller


Administrator

As one of the Administrators at Alexander Eye Institute I wear many hats and enjoy the variety that this brings to my day. One of my favorite things is seeing the excitement from our patients the day after their procedures. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, playing the hammered dulcimer, sewing, and spending time at our cabin in the beautiful Wisconsin northwoods.

Ophthalmic Assistant

I am a refractive technician and enjoy working with patients and helping prepare them for surgery. In my free time I enjoy traveling and being outdoors, cooking and spending time with family.
